Whoa.

I fucking love it. Can I have it in a Christmas Card? Please?
I'll begin by saying that the shading is superb, as it always is.
The Girl: She looks amazing. Great expression, and I love how her cloak blends into ocean, with a tsunami occurring. Her crown with flowers is well detailed and fitting.
Everything else: Wow. The clouds and their lightning are very cool. I especially love the style of the lightning and how it weaves by the candle. The clouds become the head of a ferocious beast, and that transition is interesting, to say the least. The clock tower as a horn is a nice touch, and the tower itself is well detailed; you invluded all 12 markings and a little birdy on top.
I love it. Keep things up, Hoboweasel.

Hoboweasel responds:

Hehe, thanks a lot man! :D

Someone else showed me how to draw that lighting effect like that, I was just messing around though (I personally think it's a bit of a weak point, maybe I could have made it appear more light or defined, I don't know. If I had flash I guess...).

She thought it was really cool too :J (we just let out for break a while back and I had to give it to her then).

I dislike it.

No offense, but it's not aesthetically or imaginatively pleasing in the least. And no, I'm not "anti-gross" or anything, but this simply isn't anything special. There isn't any superbly done style or technique that should redeem its downsides, either. It's ugly and unoriginal, and the fact that it has a boring pseudo-background only adds to that.
Your usage of thumbnail is in bad taste, by the way. Even if it was intended as a joke, it's a crude joke that I really didn't find funny.

Slintas responds:

Too bad you didn't give me any constructive criticism so I could have learned from a master such as yourself :D

So bright...

So much "glow" that it actually makes my eyes a little sore looking at it.
Besides that, it's pretty good. I've always liked the use of an outline-lacking style, and here it fits well.

Vadent responds:

yeah the more I look at it the glowier it is, at the risk of sounding like some artsy bullshitter I'd say that echoes hajis erethral character and ghostly presence... or maybe I just went a bit filter crazy!

Ew, that viola is bad.

This is superb. The girl looks great, especially her legs, and I love the way her clothes look. Her expression does a good job; "heh, I can summon zombies. I'm a badass!" The zombies look very good, amazing detail here; it almost bothers me how the zombies are more detailed than the girl, but that's a good thing, as the styles do work together. The background is astounding, you nailed a bleak cityscape on the head and the sky's painting style is lovely.
And, here's my only problem: That viola is bad. One of the ribs on the right (our right) side is missing, the general shape of the upper portion is too circular, and the lower portion is WAY too fat. It looks like it's squished. As well, the tip of the bow is probably four times as big as it should be.
Sorry for the long rant on such a trivial thing; it's great, as a whole! 9.5/10.

Wow.

You created the next playable race, methinks! You imagined it with armor, a mount, and a uniquie appearance, all of which are the factors that go into the races.

The subject is fantastic; lots of detail and very creative. The background is superb, particularly the water. I like the "Wanted: Murky" poster on the turtle's back.
And no, Qou, that looks nothing like Zangarmarsh. Maybe Dustwallow Marsh or Feralas, at best.

Cool.

Her expression is great. Just fantastic. The eyes are a little peculiar in shape, but it works well here. I disagree with some other reviewers on the legs; that's a good thickness, considering that, as a whole, she's really thin. The colors are great, all red and green and gold, and the sketchy look complements that well.
To Registar: This isn't porn, why must it have to arouse you for you to like it? So what, you're not into younger girls, but this doesn't really look like it was intended for a "zomg bewbs!" response. By that same logic, all art that features a male, clothed or not, is gay, which is quite untrue.

Very good.

Because Sabtastic, MoriChax, Pixelcake, Wishuponapixel, Madame-Origami, and many others are all no good as female artists, right Godly? You should probably try looking around the art portal a little more.
Anyways, to the work: It's very, very good. Clean, great use of colors and great shading. The perspective looks a little odd, considering how freakishly large the upper portion of the chair is. Overall, it's beautiful. I especially love the butterfly on her hand.

ArtistGamerGal responds:

Yeah I don't really know what my vagina has to do with it but thanks for the review!

Shirt

Where exactly can one buy these shirts that you design? Could you give a website?
Anyways, it's great. Your style astounds.

Pespective!

The perspective is powerful and strange. As a whole, it's great! The shading is wonderful and the colors work well, but I have some little criticisms to point out to you;
-The succubus' torso seems too short and her frontmost thigh is too thin.
-The statues' hands are too big; same applies to Azalambel.
-Why does the tiling end abruptly on the floor?
Otherwise, it's awesome. Keep it up.

ZeWitchKid responds:

a lot of people find Aza,s hand too big, i personally too but it was intetionnal to exaggerate the perspective , for the same reasons mentionned above, its all about lines tricks really. what i really did was squeezing the two horizontal perspective points, and stretching the upper one, this form of deformation create an illusion of deepness and might make you dizzy just by lookin at it

you might expect to see more of this kind of angles in the near future ^^

as for the hornet shaped succubus, well its mostly a matter of personnal preference, i love thin waists and athletic curves

and the titles floor slowly erasing is part of a way to create distance, as the floor expand the details become smaller and smaller until they fade away, same goes for the brick walls who arent entirely textured, you will seee that commonly in manga artwork ,

I love your work, Nessa. The use of watercolors here works so well it's kind of scary. The monster is very well done and give the feeling of horror, though it doesn't look very scary; I rather like its face. The little girl is very simple, but really adds to it.
Very good work.

Juno was mad, he knew he'd been had, so he shot at the sun with a gun. He shot at the sun with a gun; he shot at his wily one, only friend.
