It's a shame that they didn't let you reschedule the audition or something - I'm sure you would have made a great artist, and I can see you improving as I look through all your stuff, so I wouldn't worry about not improving fast enough.
I'm getting pushed to do something academical myself, so I sympathize with your dilemma. At least you enjoy playing the violin, right?

The auditions were already rescheduled because I moved to Florida way too late for the regular auditions. They wouldn't allow a reschedule ontop of a reschedule. Sucks that you're being pushed away from art, too.
Yes, I do love playing the violin, but I don't enjoy it quite as much as I do drawing; partially because it's competitive and difficult. But I don't mind going to the school for it.
